About the role: 

We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and energetic candidate to become part of our tax team in the role of transfer pricing business analyst.

Transfer pricing is an increasingly important field of taxation in our progressively globalized and complex business world. As part of our team, you’ll work alongside experts to help clients determine a fair arm’s length price when transacting between associated enterprises. It is a fast-changing and interesting field of work that combines the disciplines of economics, business, and taxation and requires strong analytical skills. 

You'll dive into the world of tax rules and regulations, helping clients find solutions to their complex problems. Your work involves researching tax laws, producing reports, and providing essential insights. You'll gain a deep understanding of the skills needed for excellent client service and use data and technology to address their challenges. You'll also get the opportunity to create transfer pricing documentation, contribute to client meetings, and conduct economic analyses using financial data and fundamental principles. In essence, your role combines technical expertise with a client-focused approach, allowing you to tackle real-world tax and legal compliance issues. 

Responsibilities:

  • Working with managers, peers, and partners on the delivery of transfer pricing solutions to clients across industries in Egypt through research and analysis.
  • Assisting senior team members in the preparation of transfer pricing health-check reports, transaction forms, planning reports and documentation such as in functional analysis, industry research and benchmarking studies and to apply information to assess client’s position and develop effective transfer pricing approaches accordingly.
  • Being involved in transfer pricing advisory projects, audits, meetings, and related tasks as and when required.
  • Getting involved with other broader tax matters and staying current on the relevant transfer pricing regulations and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) guidelines.

Qualifications and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in economics, international business, accounting, finance, law or related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Great research skills and eagerness to enhance report writing proficiency to facilitate analysis and generate valuable perspectives for clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Desire to gain knowledge about tax laws and regulations in various jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and software tools.
