About the role: 

As a seasoned Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional audit and assurance services. You’ll will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial audits for a diverse client base, ranging from small businesses to large corporations. From leading comprehensive audits and designing effective strategies to ensuring compliance and building strong client relationships, your expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding financial integrity and driving informed decision-making. 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive audits: From planning to completion, you’ll execute statutory audits, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements. 

  • Design and develop tailored assurance plans that address client-specific risks and objectives.

  • Safeguard clients’ financial integrity: Maintain rigorous compliance with internal audit methodologies, risk management frameworks, and external regulations, protecting the reputation and credibility of our clients.

  • Build client relationships: Foster open communication and trust with clients, effectively gathering information, resolving audit queries, and providing insightful recommendations.

  • Investigate and resolve issues: Liaising with clients to obtain relevant information and to resolve any audit queries. Conduct thorough investigations into audit matters, identifying root causes, proposing solutions, and mitigating risks.

  • Ensure financial accuracy: Review financial statements against current accounting standards, identifying and addressing discrepancies to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.

  • Communicate findings effectively: Prepare comprehensive audit reports that clearly articulate financial statements, business issues, systems, controls, and other relevant findings.

  • Contribute to audit conclusions: Assist in finalizing audit engagements, drafting the audit opinion and findings report, and summarizing key recommendations.

Qualifications and skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Professional qualifications such as ESAA, ACCA, or CPA is desired.
  • 3-4 years of external audit experience.
  • Ability to plan and manage engagements and people along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
  • Ability to use automation and digitalization tools as part of audits or in the professional services environment.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English (reading, speaking, and writing).
