Nouran Ibrahim has 15 years of experience working in tax. She has helped various multinationals plan for and formulate their transfer pricing documentation, assess their transfer pricing risk, and prepare for potential tax administration queries and requests to defend their positions in transfer pricing court cases. She has worked with several companies on designing their transfer pricing policies and intercompany charging mechanisms. She also provides consultation on the transfer pricing and tax components of intercompany legal agreements.
She has been involved in the training and consulting of government officials on transfer pricing implementation. She has recently been focusing on guiding companies through transfer pricing controversy.
She has worked on a wide range of transfer pricing documentation projects in a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, telecommunications, consumer products, heavy machinery, automotive, and financial services. She also gained experience working on various types of financial transactions, having worked with a number of large banks in Egypt.
She has extensive experience in intellectual property transactions, including various royalty structures, trade name/trademarks, technical services and know-how, and exit charge calculations for large buy-in/out arrangements.
Ibrahim spent two years working for the FTSE Department in Deloitte London. During this period, she worked on large APAs, policy design, and large centralized documentation projects using Deloitte tax technology.
Ibrahim graduated with honors from Cairo University’s Faculty of Commerce, earning a BSc in accounting. She also achieved the ADIT Standalone transfer pricing module in June 2018.
