Rabie Morsy is a highly qualified tax consultant providing services to multinational and local corporations. He has extensive experience in managing tax disputes and tax lawsuits. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a tax inspector for 12 years, serving as a member of internal committees responsible for inspecting a wide range of sectors, including the petroleum, industrial, banking, and insurance sectors.
Morsy is one of Egypt’s leading tax advisors for the banking sector, telecommunication, pharmaceuticals, energy and resource bodies, and hospitality. He also leads the Tax M&A team, and he is highly experienced in tax structuring in mergers and acquisitions. He has been a lead tax advisor to the government on several privatization and merger scenarios within the banking sector. He leads a team of tax specialists, including international tax and treaty specialists.
Morsy graduated in 1983 from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, with an accounting major. He is also a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Taxation and a Fellow of the Egyptian Public Finance and Tax Society.
