As a Transfer Pricing Specialist, Advisor, and former Policy Maker, Yasmine Hammad has extensive experience in establishing specialized transfer pricing teams and leading large projects in governmental assignments and the international and local market. Hammad’s experience in transfer pricing include transfer pricing policy, planning, and compliance.
Hammad has more than 12 years of combined transfer pricing policy making and consulting experience working with four big firms. She served as the Technical Assistant to the Vice Minister of Finance for Tax Policy, with a mandate to develop the Egyptian Transfer Pricing Policy framework and audit practice within the Egyptian Tax Authority. She was part of a transfer pricing reform through her contribution to drafting the updated Egyptian Transfer Pricing Guidelines issued in 2018, introducing a formal Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) system in Egypt, as well as the formation of a specialized Transfer Pricing Unit within the Egyptian Tax Authority.
Throughout her career, Hammad has assisted clients with the preparation of transfer pricing analyses and documentation studies, thereby preparing them for tax administration queries and audits. She also has experience in transfer pricing planning and structuring projects, involving the development of transfer pricing models.
Hammad contributes as a speaker on transfer pricing and related taxation issues at academic institutions and business communities and has delivered a number of training programs in-house, to the business community, and to tax administrations.
She holds a BSc with a double major in economics and human resources, achieving the Highest Honors, from the German University in Cairo (GUC).
